Although Ubiquitin ligases (E3s) provide specificity to ubiquitylation by recognizing a diverse array of substrates, few E3-specific substrates have been identified. The E3s SCF class represents the largest E3 family within the Cullin-RING ligases superfamily. The aim of my researcher is to use Arabidopsis thaliana plant as a model and proteomic strategies to identify novel substrates of the E3 SCF class. Therefore, an identification of novel substrates could be provide insight in the biology of the ubiquitin ligase SCF class.
